Does anyone have any feedback on this headunit?

I'm looking to upgrade with this and the Infinity Reference 6 channel amp.

Looks like a nice unit. Are those actual ***** on there or just rotating discs? Should work great with the infinity amp etc. [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/04.gif[/img]

 

I was thinking of replacing my base unit with a single din unit and putting in an open box below to hold my sunglasses, remote, and other misc junk. Maybe less visually appealing, but it would be more functional. Probably can't get 6 discs though.

 

Looks okay... If me, I'd keep looking.

 

Anyone have the DPX-501 unit, as a replacement of the stock SHAKER500?

I installed the DPX701 headunit, with 10 Disc CD Changer, SAT Radio and Ipod interface. All connect to Shaker 500 amps and speakers (Pioneer replacements 3way in doors and 2way in rear shelf. CD changer mounted in between rear shelf speakes with brackets inside trunk... Install pictures later
Lets see, in dash, G-Meter, HP meter, CD controls, Color Display, Sat Radio controls, and Ipod controls.... hmmmmm
I love the system looks and sounds great.
