I did it! Just installed my new HU-a Kenwood DDX470. I've posted some pics, take a look. I hope they help some of you out there.

Hi All...wow, been a big week! I bought my first ever Mustang! 05 GT Premium, silver/charcoal, bone stock (original tires!) and best of all, only 28k lady miles!! ($15,500 if ur curious) I have been a chevy gearhead forever, but they were putting out some ugly stuff in 04-09 which was basically my price range...I'm blown away by this factory Stang...

Anyway, This thread is as close as I could get with a question or 2. I also bought and installed a Kenwood DNX6990HD unit...I think its same as the 470/419 except NAV is included. Anyone know the trick to getting it to download my phone book from the Samsung S2? Also, have a 500g hard drive I was going to load music/movies, but it won't recognize it via BT? Is it a particular format that I'm missing? The drive is NTSF. Thanks for any info, and I'm hoping to actually get out of the car someday...gonna need a shower soon!

 

Where did you wind up mounting the USB connection for it? I'm looking at getting one of these for my 2006 GT and my primary want is the USB media drive ability.
