KC: Need your help for Power Passenger Seat

Kevin, I want to retrofit the passenger seat with the '07 power parts!

Thanks to Clintoris, I have the parts list here:

seat track........7R3Z-6361710-A....... $449.42
switch.........1L2Z-14A701-AA........$40.08

shield/bezzel....7R3Z-6362186-BA.....$55.57
wire harness.....7R3Z-14A699-DA......price not listed yet.

Can you provide parts / beat these prices?

Obviously you can't post the pricing here, I have emailed you my request as well. But I am sure we would all like to know!

No... what'll make you nuts is listening to the wife complain about not seeing over the dashboard. $550 for a little peace and quiet... not a bad price.

Probably... but I figure that I already pizzed away $1k on headlights, so fixing the seat should be a piece of cake...

Trying to do this too

I also want to know if this will work on a 2005. The wiring harness will just plug into the electrical in the car? And also, where is the best place to get parts, as my dealers here in Edmonton, Alberta want $1000 for the seat track!

Count me in, too!! My wife also complains about the seat position. The power option should silence that complaint! I've been hoping this option would become available ever since I bought the car.

I can't imagine that the seat track is THAT much heavier. I'll bet you're not adding more than 30 pounds. If that's a huge problem.... just fill your tank to 11.5 gallons... instead of 15.

Fair enough, but its still something I wouldnt do. I would change the drivers one to a manual before the passenger to an electric.
