I have katskin on my stealth. Self installed and got it through a group buy for like 600 shipped about 5-6 years ago. It's held up great and is better than the Mustang leather, imo. Much better than the oem painted leather in the stealth.

If I ever have to reapolster the mustang then katzkin is the first place I'll turn.

What are the issues with installing the stuff on the cars with side airbags in the seats?

 

What are the issues with installing the stuff on the cars with side airbags in the seats?
I would like to know too about the side airbag issue. Is it just a matter of disconnecting the battery and waiting 15 minutes for it to clear?

 

You'll need to remove the seats to install but it might be difficult with the sensors/ triggers? But I was actually thinking about deployment. I was thinking about the stitching. Is the factory designed to breakaway? If so, does the katzkin do the same?
