I bought my car with the Shacker 500 just for this type of setup. I'd like to put the tweeter and midrange behind the upper grill and the sub below. A seperate midrange driver is OFTEN under-estimated and can really bring out essential instruments you've never or barely heard. Does anyone have this setup or a similar 3 way in the front? I plan to just replace the rears with 3 way co-axials for fill and sub or dual cone sub in the trunk. Thanks

I have installed those compnents in 2 different vehicles so far. They sound very good, with snappy midbass and nice, clear midrange. Of course, I install with care, but the factory provisions in the 'Stang are quite sufficient. Deaden the doors or you will hate yourself.

Seaclam, I've been looking at the exact same components. If you dont mind, can you let me know how much you are paying for them. My local JL authorized audio dealer quoted me $450 for it. Also, what amps are you planning to use to power these?
