I have a black 2005 mustang v6 and it doesnt have the interior upgrade pacage and the my color feature. Is it possible to add either? whether its an after market product or a ford product.

Flight... those are pretty much parts that add on to the IUP.... I think it'd look funky to have that put on and not have IUP in general

Btw... Black... i'm with you... I have a v6 w/ no IUP as well... would love to find a way to add it on to my mustang. I really don't care too much for the MyColor option... i'd rather just have my interior chromed out.

 

Actually you can buy them piece by piece. I only bought the 5 pieces that make up the original IUP look,I dont like the whole package...

I didn't realize that you could get the parts that give you car the original IUP look!

Would they happen to have the parts that chrome out the steering wheel and shifter as well?

Btw.... post pics when you can! I'd really love how your interior turns out after installing the parts.

 

uhm... flight... what about the gauges? they're different in non-IUP cars, does the speedo panel fit anyway?

 

Yse they do fit the speedo....

 

IMO Interior upgrage package is not worth the money; an all black interior looks much better without it.

 

I ordered a 2005 Mustang GT with the IUP on October 20, and I should have the car by the end of the year.

I was looking at the website listed in this thread and saw the wood dash kits they offer and I like the way they look.
What I was wondering is if it's possible to remove the silver trim from the factory and install the wood, and if it's possible how much work is involved in making the change.

I'm sure some people here wonder why I ordered the IUP if I was planning to add a wood dash kit.
I wanted My Color, Message Center and the extra gauges that come with the IUP package.

 

Mike... if your going to be removing the silver trim off the IUP.... i'd love to purchase it from you.

That is if i'm able to install it onto mine.
