I have a black 07 GT/CS with the black/dove interior. I bought it off the lot and it was just a GT premium with the CS package. It did not have any of the interior upgrade package. While I don't care about the gauge package or the aluminum trim on the steering wheel and shifter, some of the other factory upgrades do look nice. Can you buy (either from Ford or a vendor) things like:

* black door inserts
* Leather covered console lid (particularly if it had stiched GT or GT/CS logo)
* the carbon fiber look dash panel (not the big kits with CF for everywhere, just the dash where the IUP panels are)
* Leather wrapped steering wheel

I have looked at some of the vendors but haven't found what I am looking for. Any help would be appreciated.

 

I did not think you could get the GT/CS with out the IUP?

 

I have a feeling it may be pretty rare. The other GT/CS's I saw at the local dealerships had a lot more options. The only options on my car was the GT/CS package and sat radio.

 

You're likely looking at over the counter repair parts from your dealer. I don't think anyone is doing a "kit".

 

The door inserts, no. It's not a seperate piece, you'd have to either order whole door panels or get the vinyl and glue it on yourself.

The leather console cover, yes. You can get it (without logo) from a Ford dealer (I got mine from 05stangkc). There are a couple of aftermarket pieces available too (like from Shelby) but I haven't seen one with the GT/CS logo.

Carbon fiber look dash panels - I think you can get pieces to glue over the stock, might be able to get the stock pieces through Ford, but I'm not sure about them.

Leather steering wheel - only ones I've seen are the Ford parts, either with the satin pieces, or the GT500 all leather one, but you'd have to get the whole wheel and worry about messing with the airbag.

Of course, we'd all like to see what you come up with, and pics are a must.

 

I did see someone on ebay selling the Leather covered console lid. I almost bought it myself.
