Interior Revamp for the LL GTA
Legend Lime Piping
I have about 80 yards of LL piping/welting. The one I have matches the LL color perfectly. Pict's of a low light pict to show the color match up. If any one is interested, shoot me an e-mail, or PM

I agree that silver would look good on an MG/Dark Charcoal combination but I think I'll go with red for a little pizazz! Actually, I'll likely request samples of each and try them out.
I used cut down aluminum rivets to keep each end together. I cut the bottoms off about an inch in length. Grinded the edges a little (to form a point on each end) and pushed them into each end of the length. then I just pushed the 2 ends in together. You can't see the seams at all where the 2 ends meet, using the rivet. That tip is actually on MrMikes website, under welt connectors.
also if you are not sure, get some string and put it in just like if you were going to put in the welts and then pull it out and measure it, just make sure to give an extra inch for just incase
Red on Dark Charcoal Aberdeen
I went ahead with the red from YourAutoTrim. Bought about twice what I needed and it cost more to ship than the price of the welt – and the total price was only $15.94!!
I did the door panel seams and it worked well. I did have to trim the flange a bit on the bottom side of both doors as there wasn’t quite as much clearance there. I cautiously trimmed and simply butted the ends together just above the red reflector. It’s virtually impossible to see the joint unless you’re within about 6 inches of the door at that level!
I also experimented with the line across the dash but only was successful on the outer ends. The gaps were either too wide or too narrow in the center section and the area above the radio looked totally dorky with the welt inserted. So I settled for just the outside ends as shown below.
And I even experimented with the side panels in the rear seat area. That was not successful either, again, because the gaps are too wide. Installing the welt in that area looks very good and is very complimentary to the front but I’d have to glue it in place to keep it there and I just don’t want to do that right now!
Even my wife thought this was a nice addition to the trim!

I ordered YourAutoTrim Grey at a cost of $13.04 for 7 Yards, that's delivered to Canada in Canadian Funds.
Cheapest Mod so far.
Highjack: ChrisM, any problem installing the UPR Pedal Covers?
I won't say what they cost delivered to Canada.
Happy New Year

There are 2 screws on the brake pedal but only one on the accelerator pedal - at the top if I remember correctly. The bottom of the accelerator pedal has a u-clip formed in the material and simply slips up over the pedal pad. The covers are made well and work well.
My cheapest mod (and my very first mod!) is billet aluminum tire valve stem covers - a set for $2.98 from the local auto parts store. Would you believe it, I'm on my second set - somebody stole my first set!!
The Grey from YourAutoTrim is a little darker than Satin Silver but shouldn't
be noticeable installed on the inside Of the Door.
ChrisM; Thanks for the install tips on the Pedal Covers, easy install,
just really awkward.
