Infill G4 - CarPC with navigation!!

i came across a couple threads describing the installation of a CarPC based on instructions from mp3car.com..
being a techie, the idea surely was appealing, but seemed like too much of a hassle to get it right:S

just moments ago in my search for alternatives, i came across the Infill G4 Car PC system..

a Car PC that runs on 1.5GHz processor, 512MB RAM, 40GB HDD, 6.5 inch touch screen, 5.1 channel HD audio output, SiRF Star III GPS module and natively runs Windows XP.

judging by the pictures on the korean site, it has a Radio Tuner, TV Tuner, DVD Player, can be hooked to rear view cameras and more!!

specs:

more:

http://www.infill.co.kr/product/g4_software.asp

http://www.infill.co.kr/product/g4_navi.asp

http://www.infill.co.kr/product/g4_style.asp

i'm so psyched about this.. now i'm just trying to get more info and see how to get my hands on one!

Keep me updated on this. I think this would work better for me than the Panasonic 6503 I was considering. I already have enough extra parts to upgrade this thing beyond belief (160GB HDD, 2GB stick DDR2, various peripherals and a ****load of software).

well, the Pioneer AVIC is in that price range, not to mention my Garmin StreetPilot 2820 cost me $1500 alone..
not saying $2000 is pocket change, but for what the INFILL does, i think it's worth it.

i'm still to see a full review first though, but i'm pretty sold on the idea

Anyone seen one of these sold on an english site? Not saying anything bad about it being in another language I just prefer to buy from a site I can read. German, Spanish or English....don't know any Korean.

I like the idea of the PC onboard to manage the music and GPS. Any other systems out there as well?

mp3car.com only has the older T3 model..
i'm still to find the G4 anywhere, and in any case, i'm steering clear from this company
4 months and over 12 emails.. not a single response :S

Time to bring back this old thread.

Does anyone have an update on the G4? Has anyone seen one for sale?
