you may be hard pressed to get a nicer unit for that price..I have seen some clarion units for about $600-700 that are nice.

 

the 600 -700 with dvd built in or just tv?

you should be able to find single din units in that range with no dvd, no problem, dvd is going to be tight and so would double din

i have one for sale right now for 500, get car audio whole sale and i payed 600 for it and put it in my wifes truck about a month ago and now she complains about it blocking the ac vents when its open lol its a jenson indash 7 inch fully moterized flip out that plays dvd cd mp3 and all the cdr cdrw dvdr dvdrw and it has the fm am radio too, everything looks and works great like i said im only selling it because my wife doesnt appreciate it and wants a normal radio again

if you can get it new with full warrenty for 400 then he should go for that, i havnt priced them lately they could have come down since i bought hers and if thats the case ill just have to keep it or take a lose if i sell it

 

Still very happy with my JVC KD-AVX1. Subtle 3" screen is just fine for me.

That does look pretty cool. I've been half-heartdly trying to find a double DIN unit to replace my Mach 460 head unit (i.e my 'Stang is an 04). Not a high priority, but that JVC is pretty cool.
