Hurst/Ford Racing Shifter

Has anyone added the Hurst/Ford Racing Short Throw Shifter? (Item # M7210T) If so, got pics? I'm really not liking the look of the bright aluminum shifter that comes with the IUP and PTP. Looks like it was circumsized.

I added the Hurst chrome stick with white ball in my vehicle.

And the throw is short enough for a 1 year old! Game ON!

The **** is actually a pearl white. Not the one that comes w/the shifter.

I have changed handles recently to a longer one that is also laid back 3" w/a new ball from Jeg's that is black anodize aluminum that the cut radial grooves in. I polished the top of the ball.

I'll get pics this weekend if you'd like.

Like this? This isn't my car, but it does belong to a fellow TMS member who might chime in here

Is that the same one they offer in the 07 Mustang Accessories catalog on the homepage?

Any pics you got would be great. I like what I've seen so far.

Also, has anyone ordered their shifters from CJ Pony Parts? I'm looking at page # 208 of their Spring 2006 catalog. There are 2 shifters listed....
1. Hurst/FRPP Shifter and **** # M7210T56 for $169.95
2. Ford Racing Shifter # M7210T for $194.95

Has anyone ordered one of these shifters? What's the difference? Thanks.

Hurst pt # 538-0015

I got mine from Jegs # 530-538-0015 $51.99

I also got their shift ball #555-61500 'Slot' w/ 3/8" -16 thread $19.99, which is the thread for Hurst chrome sticks.

Then I taped off from the first ring down and wet sanded, to remove anodizing and the logo, then buffed the top with Wenol to shine the aluminum and remove the small sanding marks.
