how to remove the head rests?

How do I remove the head rests in my GT? I know a person who does embroydering (spelled wrong) and I want to get the head rests customized. Thanks!

Small pin hole on the base of the headrest where it slides down into the seat... Insert an unfolded paperclip or the like and lift up on the head rest to remove. Also another tip is that the foam of the headrest is wrapped with a plastic bag, if you wrap the opening of the bag tightly around the end of your shop vac or vacuum cleaner hose and then turn on the suction, it will collapse the foam enough to help you remove the cover more easily, and then do the reverse to reinstall cover.

hmmm thats a good idea, i would love to have "GT" on my headrests or something like that.

oooh, on second thought with everyone resting their heads on the things would the white thread stay white? and for how long?

This is the reason I decided to do a head rest wrap instead of having the embroidery directly in the headrest cover. They can be removed and replaced as needed. This is one such set that I had.
