Help? Quick Question
I just got my hardwire kit for my Bel v955 and I was in the final stages of installation and I've come across an obsticle.
The fuse box connectors are different then the hardwire I was sent. I was also sent a blue attatchment to steal power from other cables but Im not sure which cable and/or what to do.
Any ideas/suggestions/comments? Thanks.

I tapped my Valentine into the power circuit for the rearview mirror. If you have the compass mirror you could do the same. If not you could tap the map lights. I mounted the detector itself immediately to the right of the mirror so it's up out of the way, but within easy reach. I simply tucked the wires up under the leading edge of the headliner.
But then what do I use as for ground? Right now its half way installed and I have it attatched to ground near the passenger door. What did you use?
I used the ground wire (black) for the mirror. You could use the one for the lights if you don't have the mirror. Pretty much everything in the car has a ground lead that goes back to the SJB or fuse block.
I must be slow... I dont understand what you used for the ground wire. I understand your using the rear view mirror/lights for the lead but not getting the ground.
Your saying just about any bolt will do for ground?
