Help installing an after market head unit

Ok here goes

Im currently installing a Pioneer AVIC-X930BT in my 07 v6 replacing the Shaker 500. We hooked everything up but are not sure exactly how to wire the amps in to the new head unit.

These are the cables that were needed. Ive read in a couple places that a regulator is needed but it was mostly for the GT. If not how would this be wired in?

Any help would be great!

Everything is hooked up correctly but the bass sounds like absolute garbage! I read in a couple places that a 5v regulator is needed to get rid of a popping sound when the car is turned on or off, but I don't have that popping sound at all. Do I still need to install the regulator to get it to sound better? I'm debating on taking the Avic out and going back to the shaker if I can't get this right...

Are you getting any sound from your door subs? Just curious, since you're not getting a popping sound that the sub amps might not be on. If anything the door subs should be hitting harder with your Pioneer Receiver once it's properly set.

Glad you were able to get things sorted out. Post up your impressions as I am seriously considering the newer version (X940bt), which has a $100 mail-in rebate right now.

I absolutely love it. It was an easy install, well once the wiring harness was situated. The bluetooth works exceptionally well, the phone feature works great. When my windows are down, people complain cause all they hear is my exhaust in the background so its pretty sensitive lol. Other than that, I have yet to find anything that i dont like about it. The equalizer i had to set to custom and turn the bass down a little because it puts out so much power I dont want it to blow anything lol.

I picked up the x930bt at best buy. The only 2 differences with it that I read online was they used a different GPS manufacturer in the 940 and the software looks a little different. Other than that nothing else has changed. Best Buy currently has the 930 on sale for $499 i believe and with the harness and the dash kit i paid i think $540 total. Just something to think about
