Head Unit Ground Location

For those with aftermarket HU, where are you grounding them?

You're not using a factory adapter?

I am using the factory harness with adaptor, but the adaptor has a ground wire, just wondering where people are grounding under the dash and it does it really matter where I ground?

I've grounded to the bolts that hold the amp to the floor pan below the head unit ...

With the PAC harness it tied into the factory ground.

For an extra ground I used a bolt that was below the head unit in the recess.
