This install kit is listed to fit current F150s but not Mustangs, however both the F150 and Mustang share the same basic install kit with open pocket PN FD1424B. Just wondering if anyone has used the one with the cd drawers in their Stang and if it had to be modified to fit.

I can't answer for the Scosche kit, but the Metra kits are for F-150s. But when you get the kit the instruction book inside the kit has a page for 05 Mustangs.

The 04+ F150 kit is the one you need. I prefer the Metra kit as it is more versatile, and I think it looks better also.

Here is some pics from my setup, It is not referenced as for the Mustang, it is the F150 kit. It did not have to be modified, fit right in, and is nice to not have the pouch underneath the cd player.
