I think the cupholders are very ugly, any ideas on how I can decorate those? lol

Well, with a glue gun and some silk flowers, you'll have those cupholders pretty in no time! Not only will your interior stand out from the crowd, you'll be a hit at the Easter Parade! For complete instructions visit the Martha Stewart website.

If you think the handbrake is ugly, wait till you get a second look at the gawdawful side mirrors.
But, yes, the handbrake was by far the most neglected item by the design department...probably cuz, unlike the side mirrors, only those inside the car could see it.
The antennae needs some serious work, too.
All in all, these 3 items are the only cosmetic issues I have with what is otherwise a beautifully executed design.

I don't necessarily like the look of the brake handle, but it is just a brake handle after all. What I don't like is the rubber gasket that covers the lower portion of the handle. It bends up and tends to stay that way, particularly on the manual transmission-equipped cars. The reason for this is the driver often engages the parking brake in addition to putting the car in gear after parking it. Most people driving automatic-equipped cars don't bother with the emergency brake unless they routinely park on hills.
I can see the current gasket becoming a serious wear item. My '96 GT had this problem. After being flexed time and again, the rubber wore out and split. The dealer replaced the rubber gasket under warranty, thankfully. However, when they replaced it, they replaced it with a differently-shaped piece. The new piece looked better and did not appear to have any heavy-wear issues like the original. At first, I thought they did me a disservice by replacing the gasket with one that differed from the original, then I was thankful when I realized what an improvement it was!

I know, same here Janet. I'm just fine with the handbrake.

You are making a joke of his whole thread:
LOL, ugly? If you find a "cute" one, let me know, oh brother.
