One thing I like about my 05 are the guages. During the day, the black background, white letters and red needles remind me of my old '68. But when I turn on the headlights, the white letters turn green and they remind me of my Dad's pickup truck. :notnice:

Is there a way for those of us without the "My Color" option to change the color of our guages at night?

no. MyColor feature is called that way for a reason. You can install "MyColor" package yourself, but it would be tricky. Search forums for installation instructions.

 

Are there green lenses on the lamps for night driving or are they green led's?

 

There was a thread, I think in interior mods that discussed this issue. If you do a search you should find it. If I find it I will post a link to it.

 

I remember that topic, if I recall no one figured out how to keep it lit white. I too wish I could keep it that way permanently.
