would this do bodily harm if in a crash, due to air bag deployment??

Yeah, and it's kinda ugly.

If I were going to put anything there, I might use a classic Mustang script, like these from our good friends at Mustangs Unlimited:

Hey I think we finally found StangMary's Mustang emblem.

Yeah, go with the script if you want but how about just a Pony w/the tribar in the corner.

I think a pony & tribar would inhibit the airbag from deploying.

Why? I'm talking about the Pony/tribar emblem on the V6 fenders. It could be placed above or below the seem of the airbag "trapdoor" next to the vent on the right. If it's glued on tight enough it shoud stay on. No?

I guess it depends on how big that emblem is and how big that section of the dash is...

Where did you get the big pony? It would be great in my office.

I was originally going to do that if I couldn't get I.U.P., only place it lower, above the glove compartment. I went with the 1st emblem instead shown in Brad's examples. I got my grill pony from Mustang's Unlimited, but now it makes a nice paper weight on my desk at work.

I thought about that as well.. Like the V6 (99+) emblems that KC used on his door panels. It would probably look good IMO but I don't have one to test the effect.. anyone?

Not if you don't consider losing an eye bodily injury.

How about something like this. This is an emblem from a 1989 Mustang instrument panel-I know it says "25 Years" but it was available on later models without The anniversary on it. Plus it keeps it off the airbag deployment doors.
Sorry about the focus.

Definately like that one better. But Kev, if you could find a scaled done model of the pony then you could put it on the underside like this other one. That would look sick.
