Looks good. I don't think it would look good in tungsten grey though.

The welts do not have to match the exterior color, I have a Vista car but went with Silver Tinsel to accent the IUP package.

I know, but that's how I would do it. I think black would be cool, just to give the interior a little more definition.

I dont have the IUP and I have heard that it is hard to do in the cars without, because it doesnt stick in the joints as well. Also my interior is all black, as well my car. I cant think of a color too do. Maybe just black just to add some definition. what do you guys think?

Actually, it doesn't stick in the doors at all without the IUP leather door insert. The only way to get it to stick would be to use adhesive. If you do go ahead with adding it, I would go with red. Would look really good in an all black interior and black car.

I am sure everyone has seen mine by now. However even with the IUP door panel insert, mine will not stay down in places. I have yet to use an adhesive on them to hold them in place. I am thinking I need to cut the inserted edge so the welt sits more flush around the perimeter. I need to glue it but I am not sure what to use for an adhesive. I certainly don't want to make a mess that is hard to clean up or one that will damage the door panels if accidentally gets where I do not want it. I am thinking a very thin bead of clear silicone may be the answer.

I cut the edge on the places where it wouldn't set right. Been on for about a year and none of it has come loose.

Installed mine a few days ago. It looks pretty factory. I like it. I got the silver to match the accents on the IUP and the SHR stuff.

When I opened the package and saw the stuff I wasn't sure but when I started installing it looked way better. The "tinsel" has a clear coating but you can't really see it when installed.

Any updated info on supplier for the welts or piping? Also have had no luck with miamicorp.com for the aberdeen leather/vinyl inserts. Would like to get some (blk or dark charcoal) to finish off the rear panels on my convertible. Need 2 pieces each about 24in x 18in. Any/all leads appreciated.

Did you contact Mrmikes.com? They were the original source when the idea 1st surfaced by Orignial Sin.
