Front Seat Side Airbag Question

I swapped out my factory cloth seats for leather on my daughter's 2006 and now I get a flashing airbag light. I did made sure to connect both under seat wiring harnesses on both seats. Is this a simple fix like disconnecting my battery? Any ideas please!

No idea. Would using seats from a different year model have anything to do with it?

marcy has a 06 too that we had to take back to the dealer for that same light and they re set something that took care of it. something to do with calibrating the sensor. sometimes in my 05 when marcy was in the pass seat i would get a light because she didnt weigh enough (or her but was too small) or something. sometimes if i set something just right on the frt seat i`ll get a light, its never been a issue.

When I swapped out my seats for the GT500 seats I had an error as well.

What I wound up doing was just using the base from the passenger seat (this is likely what's giving you the fault) and taking the cover and foam out and swapping it with the new cover and foam.

There must be some difference in the two modules... once I did that it worked fine.
