Ok,
Cosmedicaly I like just about everthing about the Mustang GT. However, I wish Ford could have come up with a different design for the door speakers. What do you all think"

I agree. The stock sub grills just look cheap and cheeze. Thankfully, you don't really have to look at them while you are driving... But I will be replacing the subs and the grills for something better once my GT is here.

You still need a bit of bulk for excursion. Here are my JL's, with and without the grilles (they took a bit longer to get in).

First, without...

and then with...

I don't really think they did a good job with it, but the look of the door speaker enclosures is supposed to match the look of the "gas-cap-style" badge on the outside of the trunk. The problem is that the shape doesn't go with anything else in the interior.

Maby something like the 3dcarbon one in fiberglass or carbonfibre and then painted to patch your exterior. That is what I will probably do, and then just paint a few other interior accents your exterior color.

I know they have to stand out a bit to clear the driver. That is not the problem. The problem is the grills look like they came off something at radio shake. In the bargin bin. Fugly.

Oh well! It's a cheap fix!
