Post

Well today was the day to get the first of many planned mods done. I got all 5 windows tinted, 5% or rear three windows and 35% on the two side windows. Man, what a different looking car, looks just plain awesome $195 Canadian, pretty good deal, bye bye tax return

From the side hopefully the cops will think the front side windows aren't tinted (illegal) seeing as they do look lighter compared to the other windows. From the front they look black, just like the rest. I don't do much cruising at all so I should be okay with the "fuzz"

Yea, I removed them and used Duplicolor anodized red paint. Do you have the red interior too?

Very nice! I'm getting my rear 3 windows done in 10-15% on Tuesday. I'll make sure to bring my camera to work and take pics when I get the car back Tuesday afternoon.

I really like the look as well. I plan to get some tinting for mine (got to get the darn car first though), but am kind of thinking I'd like a little more of a mirrored look. Probably not too dark on the tint, just a slight silvery reflection to accent the MG color.

Still have the factory rubber on the door. I hope cleaning it once a week will keep it from scratching the window tint. If it does, I will pursue Ford and see what they will do. If nothing, I know the guy that did the tint job well and he is a huge Mustang nut. I am sure he would replace the tint and fix the problem for nothing if Ford didn't.

Probably take a case of beer for his trouble and a free test drive! (but not at the same time)

I got some mo-skin from a tint shop after my first tinting and it's a self adhesive mo-hair type strip that I put on the rubber and you would never know it didn't come from the factory that way.I could tell right away the difference..Ford won't do a thing as its not enough to scratch the window itself and BMW and Mercedes have been using the same type of seal for years..good luck with yours and love the color nice car man..

Is this for the rubber at the base of the window or for the the top? I'm guessing the bottom because if you did this up top it woudl mess with the water tight seal.

Rear visability is pretty bad, but I have had many vehicles with black back windows, I am just used to it. Just can't beat the great look!
