Help!! EasyGuard Keyless Entry system.
Any help or feedback Will be greatly appreciated.
So eight months ago I purchased one of those easy guard keyless entry systems from Amazon originally I was going to install it in my 2018 Jeep Wrangler.
However after purchasing my Mustang and having it be my daily driver I thought it would be more convenient to install it in the mustang. I haven’t even attempted to start this project, as I’m trying two collect as much information as I can make sure I have all the right hardware.
The easy card system there is basically nothing to it. Here is the wiring diagram.
Easy guard PKE Push button, Remote start and keyless entry
when I was doing my research to install this in my jeep I realize you have to bypass the temperature so I also purchased IDatalink
This is not the correct wiring diagram for my Mustang. (For the jeep)
from my understanding the Datalink bypass module basically takes over and controls everything moving forward. Like bypassing the Chip in the key.
I have been searching for a wiring diagram or the ignition with no luck. The only thing I found was the green wire is the starter wire
if anybody has any experience with this please speak up. I guess my biggest question that I need to figure out is where all the wires from the data link connects at. I’m going to try and start this project this weekend so I will Trey to make it very detailed with lots of pictures
