Drag racing and the Shaker 1000
I gutted my trunk to lower my weight at a local test n tune. I did not however remove my stock subs as I did not have the time so I rolled with the extra weight to the track.
To my suprise... the Bass was MUCH TIGHTER with the liner, spare and jack removed. I plan on putting together a roadside kit including plugs, fix a flat and the associated tools. (kinda like the Saleen Kit)
Anyone else notice the difference in their Shaker System with the trunk gutted?

Yes I have noticed a difference with a "gutted" trunk. Eventually I'm having it upholstered to clean it up for cargo management and to reduce rattles and road noise. The shaker 1000 really does pump out a lot of bass
