Door Sub Help

Do I need to take off the entire door panel to get out the subs? I took the 8 or so bolts out of the speaker surround but the speaker just doesn't want to come out.

looking at mine today also and you do need to take door panel off. I found out by looking at the service manual.

yes you do, its bolted into the enclosure.

the door is super easy to remove except for the handle wire. you have to use a pair of needle nose pliers to get it though the hole

The handle wire is long enough that you can remove the door panel and set it on the ground on a towel and still have enough room to get to the sub and the door speaker......at least thats what I did...
