Door lock grommets

Anybody have these? CJ pony parts Part# HW2231

No idea how, but my driver side the retaining clip broke and now it won't stay in. Superglue does not work on the plastic, going to try some other glue options, but worse case scenario was thinking of these...

Do not have those but I believe they are used on the Shelby GT or the Bullit, can't remember which. Anyway, what color grommet do you need? I have a pair of Lt Grey ones (swapped them for black). Also these are very inexpensive from local Ford Parts guy, I think about 5.00 each.

Yes, I have those and like em. But, they are an overlay. They 3M on top of your factory grommet......

shotokan, i have those covers. they are made by scott drake. it actually looks pretty good in person, but as got oatz has stated, they are just covers that stick on to the existing piece. so..... if your stocker is broken, you will be just sticking this on to your broken piece and you would still be in the same predicament.

i am happy with the cover i have, but if shr's looks better, i may still pick up their's. gotta wait to see if there is enough of a visual difference.

I am starting to wonder if it has something to do with the lock pin itself.. with the grommet removed, the pin is not centered, and has quite a bit of tension towards the driver.

Good thing I asked, thanks guys Guess I'll try another type of glue, and then go down to the Ford dealer.

SHR, there are other things in your lineup that I would rather spend money on first, and I'm trying to keep a tight mod budget.

Same here... Man, it's going to suck to have to move to a bigger facility AGAIN.

We're here for 3 years with an option for 3 more after.

Luckily we can take about 10k more sq/ft. here before we're out of room again. Now if we can just get past the elections so people aren't so worried about tomorrow...

Oh, and the switch plates are looking nice - man there is a lot of work to these little suckers... start out as "big dice" and turn into what we're calling the "Billet Barbie seat"

I had a problem with mine not fitting tight. When you unlocked the door it would pop off and I'd have to go search for it. I re-glued it with a little black silicone.
