I am picking up an AVIC-X910BT and just wondering how hard modding it is? I have browsed avic411 but I can't find anything straight forward.

Anyone here have one they have modded?

 

what do you mean by modded ? I have a AVIC-700BT and a lot on POTR do as well ? or you can find how a lot installed in Interior mods ?

 

You can enter into the Windows CE operating system on them and modify the deck. Just wondering in anyone has done that and is it as simple as booting from an SD card.

 

oh I tried it once had it up on the screen & all but never played enough to get it to work , I got the how to off the AVIC site I'll try to look its been a long time but yo may find something way back in POTR Mustang Chat when we all first got it I'll try to find the site & post sorry I cant recall , it be cool though if Sync can do stuff why not ? and if my GPS can pull info with maps/phone numbers I'm sure the hack would open up to more goodness !
