DIY Ambient lighting...
Here are some pics of the Ambient lighting I installed in the 07. I used Wizard Lights from a local place, Custom Dynamics. It uses a "Key Fob" style remote to control the lighting. The remote will change the colors, auto cycle through the colors and also auto flash the current color. I just use the constant color button on the remote and have it wired so that Blue is the first color when I turn it on. Currenltly there are just 3 LED modules installed. Driver and passenger foot area and at the back of the cup holder in the center console.

(It was the first time using this setting on the camera for night pics so the blur is due to not using a tripod)

Maybe the pictures dont do it justice... if it was a subtle light i might see how could work....the light I saw in the pictures is RICE. no offense...just throwing my opinion out there. Again if it was a subtle light escaping in the floor boards i could see how it would possibly complement the dark interior, but... the pics to me looks like it lights up the whole interior.... kinda reminds me of neons under the car. but to each his own

I made my own interior LED harness, and I can tell you that the only reason it appears to light up the entire interior, is that he's got the diamond plate floormats to reflect off of.
I think the multi colors is pretty trick! I used blue and red leds, as those are the only colors I use for my factory and NEXUS gauges.
I'd like to know where you mounted the leds.
I have 2 of each color under each side of the dash. 1 of each color on each front door sill. 1 of each color on each rear section of the door sills. and 2 of each color under the back seat facing the front seats.
I never took pics, but I really like the look.
Trust me, it is not rice at all! It's really trick, and very subtle. Especially in red. The blue is pretty bright, but because of the low profile locations I installed them in, it's pretty low key.
Good job on these man!

The LED's are a module of 6 emitters of Red, Green, Blue (RGB) which allows the creation of the other colors (Purple, Teal, Amber, White).
I will take some pics without the diamond plate and see how it looks. Also the camera takes the pic in a strange way (need to read the manual on it). It flashes twice and then pauses and then you hear a click of the shutter which is the reason for the blur.
The intensity can be reduced by covering up some of the LEDs in the module.
The way I mounted the module was just cable tie them to the wiring harness that is at the bottom edge of the "console".
I will try to get some pics of the module on the harness. The modules do come with double sided tape already on them but I didn’t use it for the foot wells just the one on the center console behind the cup holders.

Those pics look brighter than normal. They're a little over exposed for how hot the gauges appear.
It sounds like your camera settings are on anti-red-eye with no flash.
And the camera is setting the exposure from the dark interior, not the LEDs, making for a slow shutter speed. Anything longer than 1/30 sec is hard to hold by hand.
Nice job though, I can tell it would look good in person.

Ok... I was like WOW when i first looked at the pics... see if you can get a pic without the diamond plate... I do like the color ambient option in the floorboards...but at first site it looked to light up the whole interior... Im holding off any judgments till I see it in person or better pics are taken

Wow, thats alot brighter than my stock ambient lights.. I like it. Rice = stock honda with big wing, unpainted body kit, and fart can. This is not rice.

If I said "this mustang is not ugly. this mustang is pretty, because it's shiny," would you respond with "NO that is your opinion of pretty..there are many variations of what is pretty in this world not just yours"? No. If we all responded like that to every subjective comment (hey, the sky is ugly today - NO IT ISNT!!! THERE ARE MORE VARIATIONS ON WHAT IS UGLY IN THIS WORLD THAN YOUR DEFINITION!!), then we'd have a hard time having any kind of conversations.
You can call it rice. I'm saying it's not. No disclaimers necessary.

I'll post new pics as soon as I get the car back from the dealer. I am having to deal with a Roush warranty claim and its wait wait wait. I will never buy any Roush product and will not recommend Roush to anyone. They just don’t care about the customer.
The problem I am having is when using the cruise control it will randomly throw a wrench or wrench and engine symbol when pressing Resume, Accelerate or Decelerate. If just the wrench is lit it will clear after shutting it off and starting it back up. When the wrench and engine symbol is lit the code wont clear and the dealer was able get the codes this time. I was told the code was to the Cam sensor or referencing Cam timing but after the dealer talking to Ford and troubleshooting the Stang for a while the problem points to the computer. Since it’s a Roush tune the dealer has to get the OK from Roush to send it to them for reflashing and or fixing there tune. So as it will take a minimum of 3 day to send the computer to them and get it back it won’t be until at least Wednesday before I get the Stang back at the earliest. If it’s not back by Thursday I will be calling Roush to ***** at them about this and let them know that there customer service is bad.
Bottom line is DONT BUY ROUSH ANYTHING...
