I am finding out that there are more and more differences between the 05/06s and the 07s. First was the MAF on the CAI(different calibration), then I discovered that the exhaust was twicked, then the interior *****(AC, radio, etc.), some platform components..., and now something as insignificant as floor mats! Today I purchased a set(4) of Ford floor mats with the pony logo. The parts' guru assured me that the 05/06s would fit the 07s. Well, I'm sorry to say that he was wrong. First of all, the mats were at least 10-15% smaller than the OEM mats. Then I discovered that the "cut-out" grommet would not fit over the positive retention hook. So... back they went. I finally talked to the parts' manager who informed that the 07 mats are not available yet???? What's frustrating is that the 07 accessories catalog was out before the 07 brochure. Someone is dropping the ball over there at Ford- which started with their confusion when ordering the car back in June... LOOOOONG story! I'm not complaining about the differences. I expect changes and support improvements, however, shouldn't Ford personnel be cognizant of their product, and have certain basic items available in a reasonable amount of time...? Anyway, Does anyone know where I can get a decent set of floor mats that will fit my 07? Thanks

 

Speaking of floor mats, I have an 05 and I just bought those pony logo floor mats because I wanted the rear ones and yes it's true they are much smaller than the ones that were in the car originally. They are Ford carpets why wouldn't they fit exactly like the old one ?

Anybody tried them ?

 

Anyone notice that there is a new rear spoiler option?
Similar to the one on the '05, '06's, but sits right on the deck.
Personally I think it looks like crap, they should have gone with a ducktail.
