decided on the JVC KW-NT50HDT receiver

uncle sam was very good to me this year, so i decided to go all out and get the JVC KW-NT50HDT. ill be ordering it in about a week or so, whenever i get my tax return in my checking account, so i figured id see if anyone has one themselves. if so, how is it? is it everything it promises to be? im looking forward to the iheartradio app compatibility, netflix app, bluetooth for the phone (iphone) and included navigation! also loving the detachable face for when i park it on the streets in brooklyn at my girls. seems like this headunit requires the PAC interface, http://www.crutchfield.com/p_127C2RF...Interface.html.

has anyone installed a HU with the PAC harness? is it difficult to do? im not new to soldering or anything like that. i know ill need the 1 amp diode to prevent the system from rebooting at higher volumes. and a 1.5K ohm resistor to keep the door subs from popping when the unit turns on. and lets not forget a 12VDC/40A SPST Automotive Relay to bypass the parking brake lock out for the DVD player and netflix streaming via iphone.

thanks

Alot of people on here have installed HUs and not used the PAC unit. Crutchfield said my AVH P3200DVD needed it but I didnt use it. Followed a couple DIYs on here and S197 forum and havent had an issue in the 2+ years its been in and everything works fine.
