Received mine in the mail on Tues....got it in the car on Wednesday. Guys, this is a 1 minute or less install and looks GREAT! I bought the running pony pedal. I have no doubts that it will stay in place and last for years. If you're wanting a dead pedal, this is a very good one.

VERY satisfied with this purchase and the quick shipping!

Thanks Reg!

So how does the pedal install into the carpet? Does it punch 3 holes into the carpet? I've been looking for a dead pedal and this looks like THE one to buy, but I need some more details! Thanks!!!

Yes, it has 3 long, sharp prongs that are part of the dead pedal itself, that punch through the carpet and into the foam block below the carpet. These prongs come in from the side....using a rubber mallet to drive them in, you tap on the side of the dead pedal driving it and the prongs into place. It takes less than a minute to install. Once in place, it is very secure and I don't think it will move around on you. I've only had mine in for a few days, but am very pleased with the quality, look, construction and ease of installation. A good product.

Does anyone have pics of the 3 prongs and how it clings to the foam block?

Will it interfere with using the clutch pedal?

I was just concerned that my out sole could lift up the dead pedal when releasing the clutch pedal.

Is there a worn spot on your carpet? If not you should be o.k. but don't want to say for sure because I have an auto. How close does your foot come to the side with clutch fully depressed?

I kept the OEM/dealer clear carpet protective wrapping (yeah I know, it's been awhile) so most of the carpet was protected. However, there's a part in the top right corner that has some dirt smudge marks. I observed my foot's placement and it appears the carpet *could* rub against the side of my outsole when I depress the clutch. I already ordered the pedal, so I will see if it fits.

It's hard to see if it will hit my foot because everyone's photo shows dark carpeting. I have the dove carpeting which is light gray. I decided to go with the blank pedal since I didn't want any dirt/moisture collecting inside the cut-out shapes.

I just took my car out and pretended I had a clutch and couldn't get my foot stuck for anything
