Dash Panel Removal Question

I need to know how to remove the center dash panel above the radio where the 2 ac vents are. I need to clean up some XM radio and radar detector wiring for a cleaner look.

Well that was helpfull...NOT!

The only posts I remember seeing were the ones where people basically gave up. One such post can be found here:

Use the above instruction to remove the passenger side air bag. Then you can get to the passenger side bolt that holds the center vent piece in. I believe you also need to remove the instrument panel face, as noted in one of the above PDF's, to get to the other bolt on the drivers side....

Hey Sam, it isn't an easy job. I just took my vent piece out to get it signed by Carroll Shelby, and it was a tight fit in the passenger floor board. (I ain't little) Plus, all the warnings I got made me nervous about handling the airbag. I would have loved for Carroll to just sign the airbag, but I was told that he won't do it due to one going off in his face. The pdf files were very helpful, but let me know if you have questions. I haven't put it back together yet, so I can't claim total success just yet, but reassembly looks to be easier. It's alot of trouble just to hide some wiring. I'd consider looking for alternate routes.
