Several discussions have taken place regarding setting up the My Color dash lights to be as close as possible to the back light color that comes on as dusk is approaching. I have seen reference to 5-5-5 and 5-5-4 as close alternates, and they are quite close.

After dinking around a bit though, I think I have a much closer match. Try 5-4-2 and see how that fits. It's still a bit off, but really, really close.

Anyone have any other combinations that are even closer?

Sean

5-5-3 is pretty close, but still looks like it has a little bit of a blue tint to it. That's what I've had mine set on for a while but maybe I'll try out your suggestions too.

Oh my goodness - it's finally come to this.....are you a 554 or a 552 kind of guy I wonder if any of the non IUP folks get what you are referring to?

Have you tried the white setting that is one of the predeterminded 5 or 6 color settings - the ones you don't individually adjust? That might be closer yet?

I haven't really played with this feature that much, but maybe I'll try the pre-set one and see how it looks. I do like being able to tune the color to suit my eyes though.

The preset white looks yellow-tinted to me.

I tried the 5-4-2 setting and I think that's as close as you'll get to white. It's actually just perfect for my eyes, easy to read.

I tried the 36-22-36 setting, and that's perfect for my eyes - day or night.

I've always preferred 36-22-34 myself. *shrug* 34s turn into 36s eventually anyways.
