Has anyone installed a quality dash cover for your new '05? If so, do you like it as well as you thought, and what kind of quality does it have?

I just put mine in today. I love the fit! I bought it from Dashhuggers, and they embroidered the tri-bar pony on it. I can't seem to post pic's here, but I can email you one if you want me to. Living in Arizona I think that dash mats are a must have item.

I installed a DashMat cover within a week after getting my car. It fits pretty well and looks pretty cool. And as AZLitigator said, living out here in the desert dash covers are pretty much a necessity.

Someone in Tucson just told me that there seems to be a reflection on a hot day. Have you had that experience?

If you could email me a pic, I'd appreciate that.

Thanks,

Dan

Dan, I will email you a picture later today. There wasn't too bad of a refection from the dash yet, but we aren't in the blazing summer yet. I use 303 Aerospace protectant on the dash, because it has a matte finish rather than the glare of a product like Armour All. I still like to have the dash covered with a mat to keep the dash from cracking long term.

James, the dash mat with embroidery was $61.27 total. You only have to buy it once though, like your seat embroidery! I have a question for you about your seatcovers so I am going to send you a pm.

TN615,

If you do find how to order one, I would really appreciate the contact info.

Thanks,

Dan

I finally have a digital camera that works pretty good, so I'll try to post a shot I took this morning. It isn't the best shot because I was in the shade, but you'll get the idea. I'm really happy with the dash mat.

Well, I tried but it won't let me post my picture, but go to-

You can check out my other pictures too! I wish I could post pic's here... sigh...

It really lays nice and flat and doesn't slide around at all. I only used two of the velcro pieces they sent, and put them on the outer edge by the pillar. I like it! And hopefully it will keep the sun from fading and cracking the dash over time.
