A Couple New Mods!

I ordered the Premier package shifter boot from Kevin now that the price has gone down. I have always liked it ever since I saw it on my friend Shatter's 07. I added the 06 leather wrapped shifter handle and I think it goes well together. Pictures are sort of blurry?

I also went to Home Depot and bought a roll of rubber weatherseal and taped it around the JLT heat shield. It rattled some and this has fixed the problem. The weatherseal has self sticky tape and I really wanted black but I opted for grey since that is all they had and my car is grey. $5.69 for a 17 ft roll 3/8" wide X 1/4" thick with a 10 year guarantee!

Rich, I see that you have a flexible hose under your JLT tube, where/what did you get that. I've got the replacement hoses and the one under the tube is not very flexable and it kind of makes the entire JLT assm stick up higher that I like.....

It's actually not a flexible hose but a short piece of a hose that is split and meant to wrap around the hose and protect it. I got it with the JLT when I ordered it back in 05. Sounds like they don't include them any more. The tube used to rest on the hose before I bought the heat shield that they developed later.

Every time we make a video of your car you mod about 10 things on it... I can't keep up! And I thought I was supposed to drink beer while you installed that stuff, you are seriously cutting into my consumption time!!!

Thanks guys and these are next. Silver Horse Racing billet door handles

BTW the sticky foam didn't work. After one day of driving it started coming off. It didn't like the heat. Oh well!
