Converting to 2014 seats with heaters
So my 08 GT has worn out front seats. I got a good deal on a set of 2014. However details about the wiring are realllllllly sparse. Anyone done this conversion?
I've included pics of my driver's side harness plug and the seat plug. I'm clueless when it comes to reading the wiring diagrams, since they don't actually indicate which wires terminate at a plug (and if they do, that should probably tell you how good I am at reading them...). It really would have been nice for Ford to have more than just the ground color in common. I really need some help figuring this out. I've got another plug to match the car to put on the seat. I'd like to make the heat work if possible (I realize I will need a climate control unit with the buttons), since the factory wiring seems to support it. If not, just getting the power adjustments to work would do.
The pictures below are 1st, the driver's side harness from the car, the 2nd is one side of the 2014 seat plug, and the 3rd pic is the 2014 plug upside down.
