Cargo net install?

I forgot how I attached the one in last car, senior moment. How/where does the net attach to car. I have rounded up parts, net, some adapters exct.. I thought the ones right behind the tail lights. But when I unscrewed them, nothing to screw hooks onto. A pic would help.
Thanks

Done, thanks guys. Repurposed my old mercedes net.

There's a write up in this forum. Just do a search.

In the meantime, see pic attached. Hope it helps.

I did dearch and only came up with stuff from 05-06 that are after the big crash back in the day. They show nothing. I have a set of ***** like yours but no place for them to go like on yours. Did you drill or smothing to attach *****? I have no mounting point there on my 07.

Sorry, could use more help.

You have to remove the panel , which isn't hard , and drill a hole so you can put the screw for the **** from the back side of the panel.

^exactly. The 2 existing tabs are to secure the panel to your trunk. Frustrating, the 99-04 cargo net tabs just screwed in to the same location as the retainers.

Those two prongs are even more flimsy on the 10 and up. Once you take them off you can't reuse them because of the teeth of them snap in for a single use.

If you don't want to drill. Just loosen up the two metric bolts on each side. Loop the net around the bolts and re-tighten.
