Lightbulb Bridging Shaker 500 stock sub amps!!!

First of all this is probably the best forum for information regarding audio for our cars, so thanks for all the great info. Like the title says I've currently upgraded the 6x8 speaker on my car and added a amp/sub to the trunk. I like others would like to have a little more output out of my door 8" subs, I've read in multiple threads during my extended research that you could/should bridge the stock amps to get more out of them. So again my question is how or is it even posible to do this? If not what's the best option for this? Any info/pics or whatever insight anyone could give on this matter would be greatly appreciated. By the way I bought the shelby/kicker cvt8 for the doors.

Thanks in advance
Ed

honestly, the stock amps are crap. Bridging them may boost the output some, but if I were you Id just get a descent aftermarket amp.even bridging the stock amps will only give you around 50-70 rms. cvt8s take around 200 to perform at their best. What do you have running your trunk sub? You may be able to run the door subs off that as well.

Granted I am more picky that the average listener, but I don't think you will be happy with just using the stock amps.

Hey man thanks for the reply believe me I'm well aware that the amps are junk, but I want to use the amps until i can get enough money to buy an after market one. If I could get a little more out of them, I can wait without crazy waiting for a better output from the door subs. I currently have an alpine Pdx m6 with a alpine 12" type R sub in the trunk!!

haha ok jsut figured id check. Someone correct me if I'm wrong here, but I was thinking you could probably run the door subs in series with the trunk sub, all off of the Pdx m6. the amp should be able to handle the load, only thing id be woried about is the cvt 8s getting almost too much power then haha.
