One other thing, for the price you could get a base model wheel, it might be worth it to see if the spoke covers would fit the IUP wheel. Looking at pics, they appear to be identical. Maybe stop by a Ford dealer for a closer look or if you know someone with a non-IUP wheel, see if they'll try a quick swap just to test the fit.

I had the Base wheel (bought IUP wheel for the leather). There are no spoke covers. It's all molded as one piece.

Oh Sweet! good to know the IUP satin silver spokes just pop off. Care to take a photo of the underside of the cover to show the pins?

Hmmm, maybe a black chrome would look good.

Cool thanks for the photos.

Just reset my bottom spoke cover, easy as cake, just pops right off.

Dont buff or polish the coating off. Mine has a scratch on it, and it show white plastic below the satin silver.

Can we remove them without removing the airbag?

Yes, that's not a problem. Pry from the edges and they'll pop right off, you 'sneak' them from under the bag.

As far as painting, that works fine. I did mine in satin black. Just scuff the satin silver, prime, sand to your smoothness desired, paint, allow to cure, put 'em on.

And while I'm here...

11 years, 3 months-ish? Awesome.
