I have a 2005 mustang with a shaker 500 sound system. I just bought the new 3g iphone and was wondering what the best way to get it to work with the shaker system would be?

Anyone know if this adaptor works with the nav radio? Crutchfield does not list the nav radio as an option.

 

Yikes at that price you might wanna consider a whole new head unit with a built in iPod or USB interface.

 

That's sort of what I think, too. The CD changer is slow and a pain to use anyway. I think I'd prefer an easier to use 1 disc set-up. Plus, it does that stupid skip in between tracks.

 

According to the Crutchfield site it doesn't work with the Shaker 500 factory-installed head unit...
