There are several companys that make auxillary input and external CD play adapters for factory radios with digital interfaces. There is one available for the 04 radios.

Someone contaced a supplier on an earlier post but apparently no one has made one for the new 05 corporate radio yet. (search posts using "aux")

I'm hoping one will come out sometime in the near future.

On the top right of the screen use the board search feature and type in: Aux button.
Make sure you highlight 2005 Mustang forums.

There is no plug for the aux input in the back of the radio.

Apparently the Ford 500 has the same AUX button issue where no one knows how to hook it up. Maybe the same cable will become available and make us all happy - mustang and 500 owners.

Since they didn't put a satillite sytem in this car or make it an option through the dealer, the least they can do is make the aux. available to operate a sat. system. I keep reading these posts hoping new info becomes available.

Looking at the wiring specs from another page there is def. audio input capabilities... now we just need the harness! The good news is the radio is really simple to get in and out so it shouldn't take more then 30 minutes to get the plug in the back and the dash back on.

Thin wires can be run up the piece of trim too without hassle, and the whole center counsel is open to run wire as well.
