Autometer Gauges, problems with Digital Shift light

I installed the Autometer digital rpm, shift light (#6187)and now some of the LED's are burning out. Has anyone else had this happen to them?

They are going to repair it, just wondering if I am just lucky with this problem.

I had no problems with my 6188, but the only difference in mine & yours is stage 1 verses stage 2.

I did have the tach adapter 9117 malfunction, but Auto Meter sent me a new DPSS & 9117 .
Their customer service is great! You should be fine .

I sent it off to Autometer and with in a week, I got a new shifter light assy. They are the best!

If your thinking of gauges, please give auto meter a thought, they really stand behind their stuff.

You have to love the companies that really back their product instead of instantly trying to weasel out or pass the buck. I have an Autometer Nexus setup in my ride, and they've been flawless, but I've heard quite a few good stories like this regarding their support dept.
