I have the Ford accessory Ambient Light Kit ( 8S4Z-3E700-AA) which I would like to fit to my mustang but Ford do not supply any fitting instruction with it. They say go to www.fmcdealer.com or www.inford.com for fitting instruction but I can not access these sites because I don't have a pass word.
Can any one supply the PDF file for this kit ? or a link were I could down load them from.

After reading through the instructions it says to take power for the side light (parking lights) circut, Can this kit be wired up to the door switches so they work with the interior lights?

 

I havent seen this how expensive is it? How hard to install? thanks

 

Wiring up to the door switches will leave power to the lights on the entire time the ignition is turned on.

An alternative is to find the wire for the PRND321 bezel illumination as it will dim with the dash lights dimmer switch as well as come on with the remote when you unlock and will go off when it times out.

 

Thanks to all that helped me find this, after buying a 3 color light kit off ebay, switch and harness included and buying 20 green LED 12vt lights also off ebay, i have a total of $36.00 in the kit. I have located all the spots for the lights and will be installing Sunday, Pics to follow. Just something else for the Hooters Midnight Madness Car Show!
