It is hard to tell how this "mod" , to the upgrade will look.

For the real upgrade package, the stainless/aluminum (whatever it is), has a horizontal line finish.

The steel swatch for the upgrade to the upgrade,..... it looks like the horizontal lines are not there.

Question is will it look cheesy, if they are different metals.

Thoughts?

I saw two V6 Mustangs with the SS inserts! It looked similar to the IUP. The insersts SS looked better than the factory IUP inserts.

The Legend Lime V6 had charcoal cloth seats, automatic and shaker 500 for 21,000. And the White V6 had parchment leather automatic and shaker 500 for 23,000.

The dealer was charging $499.00 for the aftermarket SS inserts installed.

Im confused - is this a replacement of the IUP or an addition to it? And which "flavor" of finish matches the IUP aluminum?

Edit: ok, after looking at the schematics, I understand it... duh... :bang:

If you look at the 16 pc. package, the PDF file, All I would want would be numbers 1,2,3,4 &5.... I wonder if they just sell the peices seperately??

I'm not sure but does the owner manual say "Do not remove the ugly e-brake handle. Earth will explode", or why doesn't ANYONE produce a replacement?

Good find. The aluminum finish looks great and I think the woodgrain finish would look good as well. The prices on the site seem reasonable.

That's actually not that bad looking IMO.
You're right....It's not that bad, but it's also not that good.

You should email them back and tell tell they're making a mistake.
It would be in their best interest, business wise, to split it up.
They won't sell THAT many of the whole kit.
Like I said before this is a company that knows very little about the Mustang.
In fact, IIRC, they stole the original idea for their SS inserts and now they've based an entire company around them.

Rex, I was looking for a contact for them but couldnt find it...I may be blind, If we send enough emails MAYBE they will get the hint that there is a demand for the 5 pc. set. The crazy thing is the 5pc. set they do offer is a joke!!! Why wouldn't they offer the other 5 pc. set? They would sell way more of those sets!!!

For some reason, I would think the "black cherrywood" would look nice.

Sweet mother
I was afraid the metal on the steering wheel would look funny with the wood but it looks awesome. I might want a hair litgher wood with bronze or copper trim around the a/c or maybe gold

I'm not sold on it, but I'm sure glad to see stuff coming out. Give it a couple of months and just imagine what options we'll have!

Can somebody photoshop this in carbon fiber? The wood looks better than I thought it would.

I found a dash kit place that says it is factory match double brushed aluminum. For those of us without IUP it may be a good choice. I have the interior sport package so I'd want something that matches the steering wheel and shifter. Look at pic #2 with the Mustang lettering.

Wow... That wood looks pretty awesome.

Not enough for me to drop IUP but if I had less cash......
