I am getting a Alpine IVA-D310. I have the shaker 500. What harness do I want to use so I get all four speakers and also the door subs to work properly?
Is there anything out that doesn't require splicing or modding....just a simple harness?
thanks!

The same harness that has been posted in every other stereo replacement thread, the Metra 70-5521.
You are wishing a bit much though with your "no splicing" comment. Because you are going to have to splice the harness to the head unit. Unless you know of a way to plug bare wire on to bare wire without some kind of connector.

I meant cutting/splicing stock wires. If its a simple wire-to-wire connection...thats fine. I just want an easy solution for connecting an aftermarket headunit to the shaker 500. And I was under the impression the Metra harness required some fabbing.
thanks

Nope. No fabbing required. Just hooking the wires from the harness to the head unit is all that needs to be done. And plug it in to the factory harness. The Metra comes with two harnesses, one for the sub amps, and one for the mains/power/delay/dimming.
