Question Air Bag Seats

I found some Front seats with Air bags. Are all Mustangs wired for the AirBag option? If I bought them would the Airbags be"active" once installed?

If the car didn't come with them, you won't be able to make them work. Sensors and wiring. Although you might could rig up something to make them go off with the regular wheel/dash airbag, I don't think I'd want to. A little scary to do that, IMO.

I would also, if you're contemplating using them on a non-airbag seated car, be sure to remove the airbags from the seats and replace the modules with a sufficient amount of foam, and be sure to glue it in place. And also remove the airbag tag. No sense in false advertising coming back to bite ya if you sell the car or something.

If you're going to install them in a car with seat airbags, then be sure to disconnect the battery, connect the airbag wiring (I'm not sure how that works, if it's separate or not) and then reconnect the battery.

There. I feel better about this thread already.
