I have read a few posts where people had to cut/ fiberglass their own enclosures to install good aftermarket subs. I am looking for suggestions on aftermarket door subs which will install without altering the inside of the door. I am looking for the best all around low end sound. Also, I already have new Boston Acoustics 5X7s in the rear deck and doors and a 6 way JL amp in the trunk. Still have two channels open for th subs but I left the stock amp hooked up to them until I find the right set of subs for the doors. Any suggestions on specific bands and models would be greatly appreciated!

Infinity ( the user here, not the speaker company ) posted links to several different brands that would work in a previous door sub thread. Might search that one out. I installed MTX 4508s in my doors. Very minor modification to make them fit.

What is the sound like on the MTX? Big difference from Stock? Do you have them powered? Thanks for the info!
