Arrived today. Gotta give it to the UPS guys. Delivering the afternoon when a huricane came through in the morning. OK well i ordered two sill inserts with my brake and gas pedal. Not sure to go with the "buttons" or without. Off to the garage to install...[attachmentid=36949]

Just installed. Very stright forward. I took some of the rubber "dots" and cut the "top" off to cover the screws. Used some blue gasket stuff, but not sure it will hold. Will post Pics later..... I decided to use the dots, becouse i ordered matching sill inserts and thought that if I did'nt the holes would fill with dirt.

Thanks hags1 and Rob... They do look great....

I just installed the pedals. I am wondering.. I noticed after I installed the gas pedal that it extends about a 1/8 inch lower that the bottom of the pedal. I am a little worried that it may be preventing me from flooring it all the way. Any input on this? Thanks.

Has anyone had any luck getting a hold of the folks @ Ultimate pedals recently? I ordered a set online and never got confiramation and I call them and only get answering machine. I see they are in West Boca Raton, FL. My fear is this company may have been seriously affected by Hurrican Wilma  I'm nervous. Anybody know if the crew @ Ultimate Pedals is OK?

I recieved mine Wed. I'm not sure when they will get installed, it may not be until next spring. :bang: A HUGE thank you to hags and UP for the group buy . . . it was the only way I could afford them. Quality is superb! The one thing I did notice is that there are a lot of shavings on the pedals (100's, mostly hanging on edges of grippy surface), a quick brush off will take care of them, but it would have been nice for UP to do it. Just a suggestion. Anywhoo, here is a picture.

P.S. It's nice to deal with a company who can get custom orders right, handle a group discount, and ship the product quickly, all at the same time. It's a rare thing anymore.

Mine are here also....they look awesome.....thanks for a job well done Rob.....and thanks to all who jumped in on the group buy and saved us all some $$$...

My car is in hibernation for the winter....I may not get these installed till spring either....I may try to paint the etched 'GT' on the dead pedal and gas pedal....It's a long winter and I know this will help me pass the time until the cover comes off in spring.

Hey good idea. I was thinking body color for me, but then the blue may not really show, plus it would be the only blue on the inside. I suppose black would be better for several reasons.

I may not be able to wait untill spring.

I spoke w/ the folks @ Ultimate Pedals just now. I'm not going to ask them for pics as they have their hands full just trying to get back online. Right now they are dead in the water as they still have no power & no phones. They have a cellphone, but the gentleman I spoke to mentioned to me that my call may drop. It dawned on me when he said this that due to no A/C power its probably a pain for him to even charge the cellphone -- unless he keeps running to his vehicle and uses the power outlet there -- but w/ no electricity even those trips need to be limited as its probably tough to even buy GAS w/o electricity to run the pumps!! As such, I'm suggesting Forum members to please do NOT make any further phone inquiries to ultimate pedals on orders until Tuesday, Nov 01 as hopefully the power will be back then. Right now they are still trying to get back up. The online ordering/email is still up & queueing on their ISP server as they cannot get online yet to check new orders & emails. I'm sure they will address this backlog once they get power.

Bottomline: I did not keep him on the phone long.

I did learn that ultimate pedal orders will likely be queued out for up to 2 weeks based on rough estimates as to when power will come back. Any order scheduled to be built this week (mine were orderered last week) should be built within 2 weeks or less. However, the electric company is making NO guarantees they will have power back by Monday. He thanked me for my patience and understanding. The folks at ultimate pedals also expressed their amazement at how *EVERYTHING* seems dependant on electricity. This, of course, includes cutting aluminum pedals . Bottomline they expect to be back up as soon as they get AC power...
