Thumbs down

I'm starting a second group buy for the Ultiamte Pedals aluminum replacement pedals. Same setup and discounts as woody1 described in his post. I've been in contact with Rob, from Ultimate Pedals, and he said he would be happy to do it again for the members here at TMS.com.

Here's the comments quoted from woody's thread:

Pedals are 6061-T CNC aluminum.

Smooth finish not recommended for Brake Pedals.

Group Buy discount is:
Greater than 5 sets; 25% off
Greater than 10 sets; 30& off
Greater than 20 sets; 35% off

Making a gas & Brake set cost $60-$90 depending on finish + any engraving.

If my math is correct and we get >20 for the max discount prices are approximately;

Smooth Shiny Gas = 25 Brake = 35 Dead Pedal = 29
Frosted Gas = 28 Brake = 38 Dead Pedal = 32
AntiSlip Shiny Gas = 35 Brake = 45 Dead Pedal = 42
Frosted Gas = 38 Brake = 48 Dead Pedal = 45

Group buy sign up from now to Sept. 9th

The plan:

Place and pay for your order online w/UltimatePedals
One week for them to manufacture
One week to deliver
20 minutes to install and hours to gloat

You will have to orders directly with Ultimate Pedals (http://www.ultimatepedals.com/home.htm )

Will have to identify yourself when placing the order with "TheMustangSource" group buy.

Open to any Mustanger under this group buy. Any year mustang.
I just have to be contacted prior to finalizing the order to coordinate names. Again orders will be directly with Ultimate Pedals

Group buy discount to all of their products (Brake, Gas, Dead. Heel rest) EXCEPT engraving, only aluminum pedals.

Will make to custom size. I ordered a larger (5 5/8 x 2 1/4) automatic brake pedal instead of the standard (3 5/16 x 1 13/16). They also have Heel/Toe set-ups.

Engraving costs per pedal:
Cobra = $25
Running Pony = $20
Pony w/TriBar = $25
GT = $10
Ford = $15
or up to 3 initials. Believe they will also make special engravings at extra charge. Again engravings are not subject to group buy pricing.
Here's the comments from Rob's last email:

The text looks good.

I would emphasize that the text "Mustang Source group buy" or equivalent, must be entered in the text box where you indicate year, make, and model to be included in the group buy (ie.... receive discount).

We typically run the group buys for two week or longer depending on how many people sign up and how long everyone is willing to wait (more people gets a better discount for everyone).

Shipping timeframe would be the same, we would ship on the next friday after the group buy ends allowing at least 5 days to manufacture all orders.

Please let us know if you have any other questions.
Let's give it two weeks and see how many sign on for a set of pedals.
Add you name to this thread if you want a set at discount pricing and we'll total up and order our pedals on October 10th.

thanks....hags1

I am a little undecided on the finish I will order as well because I got the dead pedal in shiny smooth. I want the others to match. I will either go with shiny smooth or shiny anti slip.

I got the Roush brake and gas pedals. I want the dead pedal, Roush does not offer. Which finish matches that perfectly? I will get a dead pedal for sure, if someone can insure that they match nicely...

I'm seriously considering a complete set, the frosted anti-slip with domed inserts, and a Tribar Pony engraved on the deadpedal.

Can somebody who hasn't had 5 margaritas tonight calculate how much that would be? TIA!

84.00 brake & clutch
68.00 gas
89.00 dead pedal (assuming you want the same finish)

241.00 total

-84.35 discount (assuming we get to 35% again)

156.65
+25.00 engraving

181.65 app.
+shipping

I think I remember reading we do not get a discount on the engraving. I may be wrong. Shipping was app. $10-12 I also believe. You are looking at around $190 or so if my calculations are correct.

Ordering info from the original thread.

ORDERING INFO:
Shipping charges are typically ~$12 (UPS Ground within the Continental US).

How do I get my Discount?
Preferably, if you have a pretty straight forward order, please their website.
Their Mustang line can be viewed here:
http://www.ultimatepedals.com/catalo...x.php?cPath=64

Specify your vehicle, the Mustang Source group buy, as well as any engraving options during the checkout process when you are asked to indicate year, make, and model.

If you don't mention the Mustang Source group buy you'll get your pedals quickly, but not discounted.

Also, with the website you won’t see the discount automatically, and you will get a confirmation email pretty quickly. That email will not have the discount applied to it, DONT WORRY....You are not charged until the items are shipped. Their software cannot compute a discount. It has to be manually accounted for manually.

When the items are ready to be shipped, you will get two more emails.
1st e-mail from their merchant bank; letting you know that your card has been charged the discounted price..
2nd e-mail will be from UPS Quantum View (for the US orders) with your order’s tracking number.

You can also call. However, please try to use their website unless you really hate internet shopping or you have a custom order, it takes up a lot of manpower to answer questions by phone.

Please post any questions in this thread, questions will be answered as quickly as possible.

Ron pointed out ultimatepedals.com is not a Ford product; but hey neither is TheMustangSource, so it’s all good.

Also PLEASE POST WHEN YOU HAVE MADE AN ORDER, AND JUST SAY HOW MANY PIECES YOU ORDERED (1, 4, ETC ETC).

Order and commit as soon as possible. This will help ensure we reach the maximum discount pricing for all.

Sorry for the very lengthy instructions, but I hate when there is not enough info.
